To date, blogging has been a medium limited almost entirely to the written word and embedded video. However, new technologies and platforms are quickly enabling the development of an expansion to online radio hosting, podcasting and v-logging. Join thereisnospoon, clammyc, and famed hosts Cenk Uygur and Sam Seder as we teach you how to get started in this brave new medium, discuss the challenges and opportunities for those who make the leap, explore the exciting world of v-logging and discuss the world of traditional radio and how it relates to the new online radio medium.

Sam Seder

Sam Seder is a talk show host for Air America Radio. He is also the online editor of AirAmerica.com. He co-authored "F.U.B.A.R" with Stephen Sherrill. Seder is also a writer and director. His credits include the films "Who's the Caboose?" and its mini series sequel, "Pilot Season," starring Sarah Silverman and Jon Benjamin, and "A Bad Situationist" starring David Cross and Janeane Garofalo. He has also written nearly a dozen network pilots.

Cenk Uygur

Cenk Uygur is host of The Young Turks, the first ever live, daily web television talk show. The Young Turks premiered on Sirius Satellite Radio in the first quarter of 2002 as the platform’s first original program before moving in 2006 to XM Satellite Radio and Air America Radio as the morning drive-time show. Now, The Young Turks have partnership deals with AOL and You Tube on the web and XM on the radio. Cenk also blogs on Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Politico and AOL Newsbloggers.

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert is a tax consultant living and working in the New York City area. Blogging under the name “clammyc”, he has researched and written extensively on issues involving Iraq, the Bush administration, election integrity issues and the “war on terror”. Adam is a front page contributing editor at a number of progressive blog communities and manages BlogTalkRadio's progressive radio channel.

David Atkins

David Atkins is a qualitative research consultant (focus group design & moderation) living in Ventura, CA. Blogging under the pseudonym "thereisnospoon", David has been a frontpager at several progressive community blogs, frequent diarist on DailyKos, and Netroots Coordinator for the Mary Pallant campaign in CA-24. Together with Adam Lambert, he co-hosts several Blogtalkradio shows and is a managing editor at Heading Left, Blogtalkradio's hub for progressive shows.

Keri Rodrigues

Keri Rodrigues is Southern New England's #1 progressive talk host.
