Come join mindoca from Daily Kos for a fun, informative, interactive workshop on the most effective voter mobilization vehicles available to electoral campaigns at every level.

We'll discuss exactly how canvassing and phonebanking fit into campaign strategy, identify different types of canvassing and phonebanking, examine the critical relationship between field operations and volunteers, and provide concrete and creative tips on how to be the best canvasser and phonebanker possible—and bring in votes for your candidate.

Please bring a cell phone and come prepared to share your anxieties, disdain, fears, concerns and questions about canvassing and phonebanking.

Mindy Diane Feldman

Mindy ("mindoca" on Daily Kos) has been actively volunteering for political campaigns since 1984. Her functional areas of interest are field, organizing, training, and volunteer recruitment and retention. She is also bilingual and has extensive electoral experience with Hispanic and Latino constituencies in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, New Mexico and Texas. During the last election cycle, she was a Primary Precinct Captain for rural South Texas, and a field trainer and field volunteer in Northern New Mexico. Mindy is an alumna of Campaign Academy Training (DFA), Camp Obama/Hispanic Leadership Training, and Camp Wellstone. She resides in New York City.
